Install the iPad 2 into your car dashboard. You might want to fast forward to around 6 minutes to see the finished thing and then go back and watch the whole video if you want to know how they did it.
So what happens when you suck out all your Facebook pictures and put them to music; your Facebook Life. Love this, watched it about 20 times in one day and still puts massive smile on my face each time. Soundtrack is awesome too. Big shout to Pummelvision for this.
I launched my photoblog over at ‘The Usual Shutter Specs’ tonight. That’s going to be the home for my photography for now. Head over for a look and see some of my favourite pics.
High speed train in slow motion. this is cool - it looks faked as the colour is so sharp, but I dont see how you could fake it, just a great natural result of slowing down the camera footage as you pull into a station?
Addition: Not a fake, just taken at a high frame rate, see here for an explanation:
I appreciate this is out of context, but even with a pinch of salt and an understanding of what he was trying to say it still sounds a bit “this perfect day” to me. Do we really want Google to tell us what to do next?
You searched for “Pubs near leicester square”
Another Romain Gavras masterpiece. This is the video for Justice’s single stress. There are some people that think this is real footage, those people need to get out more, these people are acting.
So you think being a skateboarder is tough, nowhere to go, chased out of shopping centres by security guards and cursed by passers by. Think again, try skateboarding in Afghanistan….
Four ‘in the’ Square - update and review
As you know my agency (Four Communications) took part in the first ever Internet Week Europe last week. Have a look at the original post for more details. We shot a very short video just to give you an idea of how it went. I want to thank the following people for helping us promote the event:
We achevied the Swarm and made some great new friends too. I think my favourite thing from the night was the huge swarm badge we put up in the window of our building. You may still even see it there now if you walk across Leicester Square.
We cant wait until the next #IWEU in 2011
Just watched a couple of videos directed by Romain Gavras and they are out there, including this one which could be argued is a metaphor for race, religion or prejudice etc. Or perhaps not and I’m reading too much into it and it was just a nice concept for a music video. Either way, ginger haired people don’t have nightmares its just a short film…
simple idea. Done really well, Phil likes this.
This appears to be based on US data only, but its very recent and if its Forrester no doubt the sample size will be decent too. I’d bet that the stats would hold broadlly true here in the UK too. Although I do question only 31% updating a social network site, e.g Facebook, I think this would be higher perhaps for the UK for those that are ‘online’.
